The following short narrative is an appendix of this Report on Public
Utility.

When the weather was warm, our days of operation were Tuesday
and Friday. We held worship services on Tuesdays and Bible studies
on Fridays. During the day we provided mental attendance and helped
finding jobs for those who demanded.

The casual ward operating during the day, five days a week, was
opened on the 1st of November, 2004, the full-time casual ward was
opened on the 15th of November 2004. In the beggining there were
16 residents in the full-time casual ward, who were selected out of 54
applicants. 3 of them had a job, 2 were studying. Until the 31 of
December 102 persons used the casual ward’s service, which
translates to a total sum of 614 nights.

The casual ward operating during the day was visited by 3596
persons. In the case of 9 persons there was a need for crisis
management, which was done through the dispatcher service of the
organization.

Homeless applicants here were provided clothing, sanitation, sleeping
bags, greatcoats and blankets.

The organization was constantly operated by volunteers. In 2004
there were 37 volunteers, none of them recieved any wage or
payment. The organization haven’t done any profit oriented activities
during the year of 2004.

Creating our website (www.hajlekmisszio.fw.hu )  was a great step in
the process of making our work more visible to the public. There was a
report about the organizaton on the 5th of December on channel
MTV2, in the ÉlőVíz Journal in November 2004, in the Másik Radio on
the 17th of November 2004, and in the Eastern European Misson’s
newsletter 2004/1.

Celebrating Christmas was a remarkable occasion for both the
volunteers and the needy. Many of those who attend the daily
operated casual ward constantly live on the street, or live somewhere
else, but still have a strong link to the ward’s staff. During Christmas
101 homeless and 22 volunteer were present.
